Super Agenda vs DigiCal: Widget Styling or All-in-One App?
Published · Updated · 4 min read
Bottom line. Pick DigiCal if you want a full calendar app with weather, a month widget, and several widget shapes. Pick Super Agenda if you want one agenda widget with detailed styling and free calendar and time settings.
Quick summary
DigiCal is a calendar app for Android with seven calendar views and six widget views. The developer says it syncs with all calendar servers that Android supports, and it adds a weather forecast. The widgets are part of the app.
Super Agenda is only a widget. It reads the calendars on your phone and shows them as an agenda list. It has no month grid, no tasks, and no weather.
The two apps lock different things behind a payment. In DigiCal, the paid upgrade (DigiCal+) unlocks the month widgets, color and font changes, and the choice of calendars on a widget. In Super Agenda, the calendar choice is free, and Pro unlocks the styling.

Price
- DigiCal. The app is free to try. DigiCal+ is a paid upgrade, and the weather forecast beyond the basic one is a separate subscription. The developer's pages do not give amounts or say how DigiCal+ is billed, so look at the Play listing before you buy.
- Super Agenda. Free to download. One one-time in-app purchase, "Super Agenda Pro", unlocks all style options: colors, layouts, per-widget styles, presets, and day and night themes. The time settings and the calendar choice are free. There is no subscription.
For other apps that avoid subscriptions, see Android apps with a one-time purchase.
Verdict
- Pick DigiCal if you want one app for your calendar and your widgets, you want weather in the calendar, you need a month widget, or you need a language that Super Agenda does not have.
- Pick Super Agenda if you already have a calendar app, you want only an agenda on the home screen, and you want the calendar choice and time settings without paying.
- Pick either for the agenda alone. Both have an agenda widget in the free version. Try the free versions side by side and keep the one you like.
